COVID Update

Further to the extension of the lockdown announced by the State Government today, and the announcement made by Basketball Victoria yesterday:

• Junior Domestic games this weekend (5 / 6 June) are postponed. Options for playing the last round of the season and finals are being explored, and will be announced as soon as finalised. No junior domestic games will be played on Queen’s Birthday weekend
• Junior Championship games Friday 4 June are cancelled. Further updates regarding fixtures for VJBL competitions will be made next week. Training for junior championship teams is cancelled up to and including Thursday 10th June
• Senior Domestic games are postponed / cancelled until 10 June. No senior domestic games will be played on Queen’s Birthday weekend
• Aussie Hoops and Eagles Development Squad sessions are cancelled until Thursday 10 June
• Big V and NBL1 games scheduled to be played this weekend (5 / 6 June) have been postponed and senior championship training has been cancelled up to and including 10 June. Basketball Victoria is working through rescheduling of games
• The Junior Classic (was to be played on Queen’s Birthday weekend) has been postponed. The Nunawading and Ballarat tournaments have been cancelled

Please check the exposure sites listed by the State Government. Suburbs include Bundoora, Craigieburn, Doreen, Epping, Lalor, Mill Park, Preston, Reservoir, Thomastown, Thornbury and Wollert.
